Quick simple and has a good kick to your signal. J-Poles are great and simple. To make this take 2 pieces of very stiff wire or another suitable conductive piece of metal. One needs to be 37 1/2" and the other piece needs to be 19 1/2". Place the elements 4" apart in a base that is non conductive such as wood. Connect the center part of your coax to the longest element and the braid to the shortest. Trim to tune if the swr is high, but I have made about 20 of these and havent had to do so yet. Diagram and picture below to help out in the construction.
