Yaesu Homebrew FH-2 Remote Control
After stumbling on yaesu's FH-2 I thought it would be a great addition to the shack. But I didnt feel the 135.00 plus tax and shipping was justified. With a quick search I stumbled upon the schematic for it. It looks for a cetain resistance with each button. Most which will require multiple resitors to achieve that value.
It really isnt complicated...
I have completed up a list for digikey (an electronics supplier) for all the parts you need minus the 3d printed parts. Below shows you the button, the total resistance value needed and the URL to buy the parts you need.

I had the push buttons on hand via a Deal Extreme order. Yes you will have more than enough with this package but If you are
like me you will use them all at some point. The Buttons can be found at http://www.dx.com/p/4-pin-push-tactile-switches-140-pcs-148065#.WrE_AWrwaHs
During the 1/2 way stage I took the following...forgive the blurryness..professional job?...no....but thats
why they call us amateurs right?
You can download the 3d model files here to print off the case which is modeled below
A quick showcasing video to show its use...
To give you a size reference I took the following next to my hand...I tried looking for a ruler...alas 404 ruler not found.
